Apple has issued phone invitations to select analysts and members of the media for an event that will be hosted on Apple's campus next Tuesday, August 7. The event will take place at the Town Hall of Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, CA.Let speculation run rampant. I'm personally hoping it's a new portable Mac, because I'm hoping to get one in September.
As reported by AppleInsider, Apple made it very clear that the event would not be iPod- or iPhone- related whatsoever.
